Whew -where do I begin? It was the hardest five years of my life. Not only due to circumstances but emotions associated with the circumstances. I was deeply depressed to say the least. I have gone through so many moods and feelings. While my son was in the NICU for four months, I endured sadness, anxiety, anger, aggravation, heartbreak and intense worry. It was no joke! My heart goes out to parents with babies in the NICU till this day and I will always remember my experience. Of course mine was even more difficult when you add my separation to the equation. My little man crush everyday - I don't know a braver little warrior than you. You continue to fight the toughest battles with God's strength and smiles on your precious face. Your journey has gone beyond the NICU, and no matter the setbacks, surgeries, tests or tears, you keep on thriving! Although many may never understand all you have endured, God knows and has you covered my boy. Mommy loves you soooo much. You are my biggest blessing, my greatest joy and most powerful testimony! When someone has wronged you as humans will do, though it hurts you deeply, God wants you to forgive. To forgive doesn't mean that you forget. It just means that you are letting go of the resentment or bitterness you are carrying towards them. It's too great of a burden for you to bear, so give it to Jesus. If not you will continue to walk around angry and unhappy because you refuse to let go of what happened to you in the past. No one has been wronged like Christ who was perfect and without sin. Jesus paid the ultimate price for our sins and if He can forgive us, then we can and should forgive others. Don't try to get them back! Let go and let GOD! "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord."
