Make It Count!

I wrote this song as self motivation while faced with all kinds of adversity. Make It Count is an uptempo reggaeton-pop positive track. It's meant to bring joy and inspiration to listeners. It pumps you up and gives you a boost of energy to go for whatever goal you've set to fulfill. You got this, it's never too late and with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). It's an anthem for dreamers, believers and achievers who are giving it their best shot at winning in life. So go on and Make It Count!

I first released Make It Count in 2008 as a single and re-released it in 2015 on my album, Ebony. It's the first song on the LP because of it's positive message. I wanted to start off with an exciting song that'll make you feel good and dance.

VERSE 1: Toying emotions, that erratic sound of fear
Trying to devour you all year
But more than ever you'd like to succeed
Though tested, you'll endure to shine in the lead
So shine yeah!

HOOK: This life's not forever
Whatever you endeavor, Make It Count!
You gotta be more clever, a stronger you than ever
Make It Count!
This life's not forever
Whatever you endeavor, Make It Count!
The devil cannot sever what God puts together
Make It Count!

VERSE 2: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for
The evidence of things not seen
So believe!
What your heart conceive, you can achieve
And whatever you ask in God's name, you shall receive
So believe!

(HOOK)

BRIDGE: Yo, count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience
Love one another, sisters and brothers,
Love your neighbor
Count your blessings!

(HOOK)

My True Horror Story (Online Ouija Board) Video!!

Before I share my story, please be advised - Do Not play with an ouija board. The ouija is NO Monopoly! When I was a young lady in my early twenties something very scary happened. Although I grew up in the church, it wasn't until something near fatal happened in my life that made me question my faith. So I decided to dabble in necromancy one day. I was just being curious and played with an online Ouija board while on break at work. I assumed that it would be as harmless as playing solitaire. However, what I would soon discover is that it wasn't a game. I asked questions about my life but the planchette would just roll around and point to "Yes" in response to everything I'd ask, so I figured it didn't work.  So I left the website, considered it fake and never revisited.   Later that evening, I showered and went to bed after a very tiresome day.  I laid my head on the pillow and snuggled tightly with my blanket ready to fall fast asle...

New Song "GLOW" #OutNow

GLOW 🌟 Glow is a song I recorded from the heart. After losing another loved one, I was reflecting on how precious life is. We don't know when our time is up, so we should try to make the most of it. We only get one chance to get it right. This emotional melodic track was produced by White Hot and I hope my words will inspire others. I'm sharing this song with everyone that I can to give encouragement to listeners everywhere. Let your light shine! There's only one you and you were meant to glow. Glow by Ebony Moore

More than just a black female rock artist!

I have loved music since I was a tot. My dad listened to all kinds of artists from multi-genres, and from his influence, I aspired to create music at an early age. I wrote my first song at the age of 10 after getting my first keyboard. The song wasn't half bad and really cute. My family still remembers it and sing it jokingly to this day. It took years for me to hone my skills. I didn't record my first professional demo till 1997 at age 21. It caught the attention of a major record label in New York, but my sound wasn't understood. They didn't know if I was trying to be pop or alternative but wanted me to be more rhythm and blues. In other words, I hadn't found my niche. Anyway, as time went on, my journey went from trying to make it in the music industry to failed opportunities and disappointments. I almost gave up on my passion of being an artist. I stopped writing songs for a while but continued to lean on God for guidance. I love rock 'n' roll music so m...
